Lincoln Hills is an ideal location for your next move. It is within two hours of Lake Tahoe, Reno,
San Francisco and the Napa Valley Wine Country! Shopping, restaurants, medical facilities and other
popular destinations such as Folsom and the Sierra Foothills, are nearby.
Want to get away for a few days? The Sacramento International Airport is an easy 35 to 40 minute drive.
There are 13 major carriers to take you all over the world. Private shuttle services as well as a
travel group you can join will see to it that you get to the airport. You will find special
events during every season including the Sacramento Symphony, Broadway shows, The Sacramento Ballet,
The State Fair, and our on Liincoln Hills ampitheatre. For the sports minded, there is Raley's Field,
featuring the River Cats, and Arco Area which boasts the Sacramento Kings
and Monarchs basketball.
Other concerts are held here as well, with top name artist being featured. Or, take a drive to Apple
Hill, Placerville, or Auburn and see the wonderful seasonal changes and bring home your own Fall Harvest.
Travel with one of our local groups to almost any destination locally or around the world! Or stay
and hang out with the people involved in over 65 clubs and groups.
The weather here in Lincoln is just right for al these activities. We average approximately 285 Sunny
days per year. The average rainfall is 17 to 18 inches per year, and no snow!. If you want snow, it is
a short run up Highway 80. It is great to go up for skiing and easily come back the same day! What
about golf? Glad you asked. This community has 36 holes of beautiful golf at extremely reasonable prices.
Residents get discounted rates and preferred tee times. There are 12 lighted tennis courts, 4 swimming
pools, an indoor walking track and two state of the art workout gyms. Not to mention a fabulous softball
diamond that hosts 16 of our resident softball teams. Need a break after all that? Relax with a massage
or manicure at our day spa at the delightful Kilaga Springs Lodge! Then you might want to go to your tap
or line dance class, play table tennis with your friends, take a yoga class, learn to knit, take a painting
or sculpting class, play some bridge, or just sit and read in one of our two libraries.
There is so much more that you need to see for yourself to believe all this is here. And what are the
monthly Homeowners Association Dues? Well, here is the great news. $101 per month gets a family of
two the use of all the facilities (except golf) and maintenance of the common areas. Class fees depend
on materials and instructors. What if you just want to relax for the evening? You will be very proud
to bring friends and family to dinner at the Meridan's Restaurant inside our Orchard Creek Lodge. The
setting is magnificent. IT is open 7 days a week and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. My kids love
to eat there! Or stop by the Sports bar to have a light snack, catch a ball game on one of the many
TV's and shoot a round of pool. Invite the kids and grandkids over. They are very welcome. Those over
45 can stay with you, a qualified resident, for as long as you want. Younger folks including grandkids,
can each stay 60 days per year!. There is an outdoor playground just for them. There is also a catch
and release pond to delight the youngster in all of us.
Don't be concerned about medical facilities. Kaiser is nearing completion of it's huge clinic right near
the Del Webb entry! And Sutter Health Foundation offices (20,800 square feet) are on Twelve Bridges
Drive as you turn toward our beautiful waterfall entry. Sutter and Kaiser Hospitals are within 15 minutes
or less. U.C. Medical Hospital is within a half hour. If you want to know more about this delightful
