Area Information
"Sun City Roseville is a retirement community for folks who are not very retiring."
We are a 1200 acre community of active adults who live in 3110 single family homes. The common areas have magnificent oak trees, meandering creeks, and extensive facilities for activities.
Sun City Roseville is built around 27 holes of championship golf designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash, which provide both high and low handicaps a scenic and challenging round. Both our Timber Creek Golf Courses and the Timbers Restaurant are open to the public.
Sun City Roseville was the first Del Webb enterprise in Northern California and is in the City of Roseville, centrally located between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe/Reno at the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Mountains. We are just 90 miles east of San Francisco.
Sun City Roseville is an age-restricted community. At least one resident of each home must be 55 years of age or older. Sun City is a community owned association. Like a small village, we are governed by the elected Community Association Board of Directors that sets policy and operated by a talented professional staff.

What We Do
Our Activities Department offers a wide variety of organized trips and events each month. These are listed in the monthly newsletter, the Village Courier, as well as on our cable channel 19, and on our acclaimed website.
Trips to Sacramento arts events, San Francisco shows, bus trips to nearby Reno or Lake Tahoe or short trips to nearby historic places of interest are monthly events. A number of shows featuring our own talented people as well as outside professionals are scheduled throughout the year. Major holidays, such as our fireworks on July fourth or our special holiday parties are so special, we have relatives who come just because they are so well done.
There are also over 60 clubs designed to meet a wide variety of interests, as well as offering fellowship with neighbors. Many clubs give lessons to learn a new skill or improve rusty ones. We take pride in the comment one resident made, “I am busier here than before I retired!” And if a resident is not quite ready to ‘totally retire’, there are many volunteer opportunities, including joining one of the Association Advisory Committees. Our hundreds of involved resident volunteers make Sun City the best place to live!
